We're teaming up with Beau Fleuve Music & Arts and the Buffalo State Fashion & Textile Technology and Art & Design Departments to bring you a fashion-forward evening you won’t want to miss!

Live Music & DJ  curated by Beau Fleuve Music & Arts: Light up the dance floor to tunes by DJ Yama + live music by wavy!

Fashion Activity: Get hands-on with fashion activities led by Buffalo State’s talented Fashion & Textile Technology and Art & Design students! Design your own iron-on patch and participate in the creation of a collaborative textile installation!

Bengal Bodega Pop-Up: Shop an exclusive pop-up market filled with unique handmade creations and vintage finds by Buffalo State students. Support local makers and discover one-of-a-kind treasures! A portion of the proceeds goes to Milligan’s Food Pantry.

Exhibition Opening: Immerse yourself in inspiring artwork in the galleries, and experience the opening of A-Typical, a docent-curated exhibition of works from the collection.

baby’s first: the band !

september 25th, 2024 7-9pm at BICA School temporary contemporary (777 main st)

$10 entry at the door, all proceeds split 5 ways ( among each of the 4 band members and BICA School )

this is event number two for this baby’s first. consider this a listening event… but with a twist. baby’s first band has spent the past two and a half months interpolating my digitally produced album into instrumentals and we’re finally ready to present our first live performance. you’ll hear the album pre-release, but it’ll sound a lot different from the one you’ll stream in the next few weeks.

the biggest shout out to the band, Bran Schilia on bass, Aneris Wagner on drums, and Jacob H. on guitar, as well as BICA School and our new space- the temporary contemporary- for hosting this event. hope you can join us 💟👼🏼
